Waraku de Gohan

It had been such a long time since my last visit to Taman Anggrek. Due to its heavy jam, I really avoid the area unless I have a purpose to be there. Last Sunday, along with my mom and my bro, we went there and when it came to eating time, we spotted there was a center stage with several restaurants inside. A Japanese dining with very tempting food replicas attract us there. Waraku de Gohan was one of  the restaurant from waraku management.

When we went inside, the place turns out to be smaller than it looked from the outside. We sat near the window and start to order. Looking through the menu, I found that they didn't serve any sushi roll, most of the menu covers Yakisoba, Okonomiyaki, Sashimi and deep fried items.

We chose Tori momo (19k), Salmon sashimi (23k), Kansai Okonomiyaki (69k) and Chicken Katsu (39k). Didn't took long for the food to be served. The sashimi came first with only 3 slices cut, but at least it was fresh.  I like the Tori Momo (Chicken thigh), it was grilled in skewer style covered in teriyaki sauce. The chicken katsu however was a disappointment as it has this rancidity oil smell, definitely they were not using a good cooking oil, or maybe they used the oil for several times to fried. Luckily the Okonomiyaki was good and didn't have that rancid smell.

Overall it was a decent lunch.
