[CLOSED] Dessert Company

One night around a month ago, My bestie and I went to Dessert Company, a not so new eatery at Pantai Indah Kapuk, next to The Twig. The two storey eatery was dominated with black & yellow color in almost every details of the place, from the tables and chairs set, the cute cushions, menu board and the picture frames. Very cute, along with caricatures of the owners, I believe. It obvious that the owners put much time and effort on every detail of the design.

As we looked through the menu, we were confused on deciding what to order as it look they have more options on snacks and desserts more than the main course, well maybe since it was a dessert company. So, anyway we decided to go with lighter meals and ordered Crispy chicken (28k), Silk banana fritters, and DC Citrus nade (17k).

The crispy chicken was okay, though a bit salt would make it much better. The silk banana fritters were fried and coated with caramel sauce on the top. The banana was sweet but I didn't really like the fried dough as the oil was a bit smelly, like they have used it several times. My favorite would be the super refreshing DC citrus nade, one of their special homemade citrus drink. The lime and citrus make it very refreshing and sour. A must try!

Overall, I think Dessert company is a good addition in the neighborhood. Comfy venue, friendly service, affordable prices, and although they don't have too much selections on the main course at the moment, but they do have lots of options on the snacks and desserts. I will be coming back one day to try the Hong kong mango dessert, one of their popular dessert which happen to be unavailable at that time. ;)
